Pastor Search  Update - Feb, 2016

We are honored to welcome Lierte Soares, Jr. as the new bi-vocational pastor of PVBC!  He and his wife, Anna, originate from Brazil and have served in America many times in their lives, including most recently moving to the greater Boston area in 2014 to start River of Life church through the North American Mission Board. They were able to visit Springfield a year ago and were immediately moved by the kind people and beautiful landscape. Pastor Lierte (also known as "Junior") says that God gave him “a passion to serve in Springfield, Vermont!”
And passion is what he brings, along with energy, vision, humor, love and hope for the future. We are blessed to have him, Anna, and their two sons, Lierte and Gabriel (coming soon!) as part of our family and community.
